Module 1
Finding the Calm Within
Calm your mind, revitalize your energy, and maximize your body’s natural ability to heal using ancient Chinese healing exercises called QiGong ("Chee-Gong", means "Energy Work"), special breathing techniques, and guided visualizations.
You’ll learn simple mind/body techniques you can do in just a few minutes a day to be healthier, feel more centered, be less reactive in stressful situations, and create instant calm anytime you need it.

Mastering Your Mind
Using specific techniques, you’ll start to become more aware of your thoughts and understand how they affect your reality. The Key to Emotional Freedom
You know when you’re upset about something, or bothered by an ongoing situation, or you just feel like you're stuck in a funky mood, but you can’t seem to get yourself out of it? Maybe you eat something to try and make yourself feel better, or watch TV, or do something online, but it doesn’t really help you shift your mood?
Our natural inclination is to try to distract ourselves, because our brains are hard-wired to protect us from feeling uncomfortable emotions. This may help in the short term, but the problem is that “what you resist persists, and gets even worse”.
Suppressing our emotions also creates a lot of internal stress, and drains our energy. It’s like trying to hold a beach ball under water… it takes a lot of energy, and as soon as you let up, it comes exploding to the surface!
The key to emotional freedom is being able to embrace all your feelings with radical self-acceptance. In the Freedom from Stress™ program, we’ll identify which thought and emotional patterns are contributing to your stress, and you’ll learn a powerful process you can use anytime to handle your emotions with ease and self-compassion. Module 4
Success Loves Self-Care
It’s plain and simple… If your tank is running on empty, you’re not going to get very far. If you’re not doing things that nourish you and help you recharge- physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, then you can’t show up fully for anyone else. You can’t give what you don’t have. You are your #1 asset, and it doesn’t help anyone if you burn yourself out.
This may be a paradigm shift for many of us, but self-care is not a luxury - it is a necessity. It's like they tell you on the airplane, "Put the oxygen mask on yourself first". Self-care doesn’t have to take a lot of time, but it does need to come first. And the better you are at filling up your tank, the more vitality, presence, and energy you’ll be able to bring to your relationships, your work, and your life!
In this part of the program, we’ll zoom out and take a look at the big picture of your life. We’ll look at all the things that are draining your energy, and what things give you energy. Then we’ll do some strategizing to come up with a Life Blueprint, which will support you in taking care of yourself so you can accomplish all you need to do, and be there for the ones you love.
We’ll also make weekly action plans for self-care, which will support you in creating wellness on all levels – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. We’ll make it very easy, and doable - even if it’s just a few minutes a day, so you can leave the guilt behind as you replenish and recharge!

I was always stressed and anxious at work. I felt like I had to constantly push myself to do more and be better, but I never felt like it was enough. Being the Calm Within the Storm...
When we can calm the "internal chaos", we're in a much better position to handle whatever's on our plates... but what do you do when your plate's too full, and life feels chaotic and overwhelming?
One of the things I do with my clients In the Freedom from Stress program is a "Life Blueprint", where we zoom out and take a look at the big picture of your life... we look at all the things that are taking up your time and draining your energy, and what things give you energy. Then we come up with a strategy to reduce the "energy drains" and increase the "energy gains".
This may involve delegating some responsibilities, asking for help, beefing up your communication skills, organizing your time differently, adjusting your expectations, or giving yourself permission to do the things that will replenish your energy.

The #1 Key to Managing Stress
If I’m feeling anxious or overwhelmed, then I’m also probably not breathing. I’m probably not even in my body. I’m just up in my head, letting my mind take me into fear, into the future, and out of the present moment – where my power and the ability to act is.
Having a mind-body practice like QiGong, yoga, meditation - or even just stopping to take some deep breaths periodically throughout the day, can go a long way in helping you operate from a more calm, centered place.
My personal practice and the thing that keeps me sane, is QiGong ("Chee-Gong", means "Energy Work"), ancient Chinese healing exercises to calm the mind, release tension, and circulate healing energy (Qi) throughout the body. As a Tai Chi and QiGong instructor for the past 25+ years, this is one of the tools I teach my clients in the Freedom from Stress™program. They're always amazed at how quickly they can go from feeling tired and stressed, to calm and wonderful!
